The pink FHR (Fetal Heart Rate) editing buttons allow you to edit
Baseline
When this is selected, baseline circles can be added to the FHR by tapping on the FHR trace.
Tap on a circle and drag it around to alter the baseline value.
Tap and hold on a circle to display the delete icon to remove.
Variability
When this is selected, variability circles can be added to the FHR by tapping on the FHR trace.
Tap on a circle and drag it around to alter the variability.
Tap and hold on a circle to display the delete icon to remove.
Shapes
Shapes are the way accelerations and decelerations can be added to a FHR trace
Scroll the images of the shapes to reveal the 27 shapes available.
Adding a new shape
- Select a shape - the border will change from white to pink to indicate selected shape.
- Tap on the FHR trace to add the shape
- Tap and drag the shape to move it along the trace
Shape Length and Intensity
Select a shape on the FHR trace.
Use the Length and Intensity sliders to adjust the shape.
Shape Adjustment
Select a shape on the FHR trace
Tap on the Shape adjustment buttons to add accelerations before or after the deceleration
Shape Duplication and Deletion
Tap on a shape to reveal the duplicate and delete buttons
Duplicate - adds another shape to the right of the current shape
Delete - removes the shape.
Complex shapes
You can move shapes together to create complex shapes.

Adding shapes to an existing Tocograph
If a Tocograph trace has already been added, when FHR shapes are selected, vertical reference lines will appear.
Contact
Loss of contact of the trace can be simulated.
- Select a loss of contact type - full or intermittent
- Tap on the FHR trace to add
- Tap and drag to move the loss of contact
- Adjust with the length slider
- Tap and hold to show the duplicate and delete buttons
