Connecting the iPads with Wi-Fi Direct

CTGi can also be used without a wireless router using inbuilt Wi-Fi Direct.

This is particularly useful if you are planning to run a mobile simulation and would prefer not to use a powered wireless router.

Note: The range of WiFi Direct will be less than using a wireless router and potentially more prone to interference from other wireless signals.

For optimum performance we recommend using a wireless router.

Connecting with Wi-Fi Direct:

1. Ensure that both iPads have Wi-Fi activated in Settings>Wi-Fi>Wi-Fi On
2. Ensure that both iPads are not connected to any other wireless network
3. Start CTGi and the iPads will automatically connect.
