Section 4: Maternal Parameters

Maternal Parameters are edited with Maternal Control States and Maternal Flags

Maternal Flags can be added by tapping on the top black banner.

You can tap and drag the flag to move it around.

Tap and hold the flag to reveal the duplicate and delete buttons.

Adjusting Maternal Parameters

Adjust the parameters associated with maternal flag by using the - and + buttons for each parameter.

• Heart Rate
• Systolic Blood Pressure
• Diastolic Blood Pressure
• Oxygen Saturations
• Respiratory Rate
• Temperature.

Contraction Influence

This setting increases the maternal heart rate automatically with each contraction on the Tocograph.

There are 4 settings - none, weak, medium and strong.
The uppermost indicator bar on the maternal flag changes colour according to the setting.

Fetal Movement

The amount of fetal movements shown in a CTG trace can be changed in association with each Maternal Flag.

There are 4 settings - none, few, some and many.
The lowermost indicator bar on the maternal flag changes colour according to the setting.
