Introducing SimConnect, a game-changing integration into the REALITi 360 ecosystem. Seamlessly incorporate simulated Pulse Oximetry and Respiratory Feedback, revolutionizing medical training by providing a dynamic and tailored experience that truly replicates real-world healthcare scenarios.
SimConnect with REALITi 360 can be used on all kind of resuscitation manikins.
SimConnect provides:
- Real-time Ventilation Feedback (Ventilation Rate and Inspiratory Ventilation Tidal Volume (VTI)
- Activation of preselected SpO2 Values and Waveforms
- Ventilation triggered EtCO2 Values and Waveforms
SimConnect will be powered by a Power source using the USB-C to USB-C Cable
SimConnect Kit:
SimConnect (kit) comes with:
- SimConnect interface
- Neonatal SpO2 Sensor
- Pediatric SpO2 Sensor
- Adult SpO2 Sensor
- Neonatal Ventilation Flow Sensor
- Pediatric/Adult Ventilation Flow Sensor
- USB-C to USB-C Charging Cable
SpO2 Sensors:
The new SpO2 Sensors (Neonatal/Pediatric/Adult) delivered with SimConnect are functioning as ‘Switches’ and will activate SpO2 Values/Waveforms on the respective screens that are preselected on the Controller.
The Flow-Sensors:
The Flow Sensors (Neonatal/Pediatric/Adult) are real Sensors and depending on the screen it will:
- Measure the Inspiratory Ventilation Volume or Inspiratory Tidal Volume (VTi) and shows it under the lung icon on the screen.
- Detect the End of the Ventilation and triggers the display of the preselected EtCO2 Waveform and the numeric EtCO2 Value.
- Derive from the number of your Ventilations the Respiratory Rate (RR) will show it on the screen.
Using SimConnect with REALITi 360
Depending on the selected screen, multiple SimConnect feedback features may be activated.
On all premium screens (Monitors/Defibrillators)
The new SpO2 Sensors (Neonatal/Pedeatric/Adult) delivered with SimConnect are functioning as ‘Switches’ and will activate SpO2 Values/Waveforms on the respective screens that are preselected on the Controller.
The Flow Sensors (Neonatal and Pediatric/Adult) are real Sensors and will:
- Detect the End of the Ventilation and triggers the display of the preselected EtCO2 Waveform and the numeric EtCO2 Value.
- Derive from the number of your Ventilations the Respiratory Rate (RR) will show it on the screen.
Generic Defibrillator Screen
The Flow Sensors (Neonatal and Ped/Adult) are real Sensors and will:
- Measure the Inspiratory Ventilation Volume or Inspiratory Tidal Volume (VTi) and shows it under the lung icon on the screen.
- Detect the End of the Ventilation and triggers the display of the preselected EtCO2 Waveform and the numeric EtCO2 Value.
- Derive from the number of your Ventilations the Respiratory Rate (RR) will show it on the screen.
CPR-Dashboard
The Flow Sensors (Neo and Ped/Adult) are real Sensors and will:
- Measure the Inspiratory Ventilation Volume or Inspiratory Tidal Volume (VTi) and shows it under the lung icon on the screen.
- Derive from the number of Ventilations the Respiratory Rate (RR) and shows it under the lung icon on the screen.

Preparing SimConnect for Use
Installation:
Activate SimConnect by connecting it with a power source by a USB-C to USB-C Cable.
Connect the USB C cable to SimConnect Interface and connect to a power source.
Connect SpO2 Sensor to SimConnect Interface on the side with finger sensor icon. Ensure that arrows side fits in the groove of socket and a click sound is heard.
Connect Ventilation Flow Sensor to SimConnect Interface on the side with airflow icon. Pinch the pushers and push it in till a click sound is heard.
To remove the sensor, press on the silver lever to unlock and pull out.
Connecting SimConnect to REALITi
The USB-C Connector is located on the side of the orange SimConnect box.
